  • Billing information: for Pro subscribers, payment processing is handled entirely by PayPal; we do not store your card or payment details

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to:

  • Operate and maintain the Service
  • Provide click analytics for your shortened links and QR codes
  • Process subscription payments via PayPal
  • Communicate important account or billing updates
  • Prevent abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Service

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

  • PayPal — to process Pro subscription payments
  • Service providers who help us operate the Service (e.g. hosting infrastructure), under confidentiality obligations
  • Law enforcement — only when required by law or to protect against fraud and abuse

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in, remember your theme/language preference, and protect against CSRF attacks. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Data Retention

Click analytics for Free accounts are retained for 7 days; Pro accounts retain analytics for 365 days. Account data is retained until you delete your account or request removal.

You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time from your dashboard settings. To request full data deletion, contact us via our Contact page.

7. Data Security

Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and apply reasonable technical safeguards to protect your information.

cutt.al is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
